In HakuĊki: Shinsengumi Kitan
Note: The guides for the main chapters can be used as a walkthrough for HakuĊki: Memories of the Shinsengumi.
Kazama's route is unique in that there is no way to raise his approval, so the only requirement for following his path is that Chizuru does not get close to any other potential love interests. For this reason, there are no specifically "right" answers to any of the choices leading up to the route divide.
Kazama's "Memories of Love" stories are unlocked by completing his sub-route in "Shinsengumi Adventures 2". Several of them have since been integrated into HakuĊki: Kyoto Winds and its sequel.

Alternate endings
Apart from the normal ending, Kazama's route in Stories of the Shinsengumi (Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan) has no alternate endings.

Bad Ending
While Kazama is dealing with Koudou's Rasetsu, Kaoru kills Chizuru.
Load Kazama's Chapter 5 with Low Romance:

Tragic Ending
Kazama kills both Kaoru and Koudou and leaves Chizuru on the spot after she has passed out, where she is picked up by Kimigiku and taken to Yase village.

HakuĊki: Edo Blossoms
Bad Ending
Chizuru runs away from Kazama into the woods alone to find the Shinsengumi and gets shot by Imperial Soldiers.

Unrequited Love Ending
Hijikata survives until Kazama and Chizuru's arrival, succumbs to the Rasetsu's madness and challenges Kazama to a fight. They kill each other, and Chizuru leaves Ezo the next day.
