Keisuke Sannan (山南 敬助 San'nan Keisuke) is a doctor and an accountant at Hakuou Academy, who is also in charge of the Health Committee.
Appearance
Sannan is a tall man with shoulder-length dark hair and brown eyes hidden behind glasses. As a school doctor, he wears a long white coat with gray trousers and a white shirt underneath.
Personality
Sannan has a gentle demeanor and many people, both teachers and students, rely on him, but there are also rumors that people do not know what is going on in his head.

That's a sad thing to say. Once you graduate, you won't even come talk to me?
Sannan has his own route in the game which allows players to experience school romance between him and Chizuru (the protagonist).
Anime OVA
In the short OVA, Sannan is shown to have only one solution to all problems — a secret remedy that heals any wounds or illnesses, which is exactly what he offers Shinpachi who comes for help after getting punched by Hijikata. Yamazaki, who assists Sannan in medbay, knows about the possible effects of the serum and tries to stop Shinpachi from drinking it but fails.

Sannan-sensei appears in Episode 1 after Chizuru decides to bring Heisuke to the doctor. After Heisuke says that he has been studying too much, Sannan-sensei offers him a suspicious vial with red liquid claiming it will help him feel very refreshed. Heisuke loudly refuses, hiding under the blanket, and Sannan-sensei does not explain what the serum is made of, calling it a secret. Later, in Episode 3 Sannan-sensei is seen approaching Shinpachi-sensei with a vial of Ochimizu, but Shinpachi-sensei runs away before their interaction. At the end of the series, Sannan is seen disappointed as he has not been able to find any test subjects for his Ochimizu research either among the teachers or the students.
