Ryūnosuke Ibuki (井吹龍之介, Ibuki Ryuunosuke) is a First Year Form One (1-1) student and a classmate of Chizuru.
Appearance
Ryuunosuke is a young man with unruly shoulder-length blue hair and orange eyes. He wears the school uniform of Hakuou Academy which consists of gray trousers, a blue jacket, a white shirt and a red tie, however, he often removes the jacket and wears a beige vest instead.
Personality
Ryuunosuke's short-tempered due to always being hungry and he does not like studying, but he occasionally demonstrates bravery and dedication.

A First Year Form One (1-1) student, the adoptive son of PTA Chairman Serizawa Kamo and classmate of Chizuru who always eats anpan and milk. Due to being cash-strapped, he makes a small earning by being a jack-of-all-trades in school. He has his own shop at the entrance of the rooftop.

Ryuunosuke appears in Episode 1 as he walks past Chizuru and intends to go home but she stops him and asks about exam preparation. He does not eat much due to being poor, so he cannot waste energy studying, and his stomach always hurts. He tries to walk away but gets stopped by Harada-sensei, who warns him about the punishment for students with low grades, so Ryuunosuke runs away scared.
In Episode 3, during the discussion of the school festival topic, Ryuunosuke proposes creating a maid café as their class has a selling point — the only girl in the whole academy — Chizuru. Later in the same episode, Ryuunosuke is shown to be on the verge of crying as he is put on the list of students with poor grades who will undergo sever punishment by the Discipline Committee. During the punishment, Kaoru hits him while running past him and dislocates his shoulder.
Episode 4 reveals that Ryuunosuke protected Kosuzu from delinquents in the past, which is why she is now interested in talking to him. After Chizuru introduces them to each other, the same group of delinquents attacks them on the street. One of them punches Ryuunosuke, and he loses consciousness, but Chizuru protects him with her body telling the delinquents to stop.
During Episode 6, due to Chizuru's absence at school, Ryuunosuke is dressed in her maid outfit to help with preparations for the festival, as it was his idea for their class to organize a maid cafe.
