Susumu Yamazaki (山崎 烝 Yamazaki Susumu) is a Second Year Form Two (2-2) student who works under Sannan in the Health Committee at Hakuou Academy.
Appearance
Yamazaki is a tall young man with short brown hair and piercing purple eyes. He wears the school uniform of Hakuou Academy which consists of gray trousers, a blue jacket, a white shirt and a red tie.
Personality
Yamazaki is timid and does not cause trouble to his teachers. He respects Hijikata-sensei for his hard work, but he used to be on bad terms with Ryuunosuke, which changed later and turned into a friendship.
Game

Yamazaki has his own route in the game which allows players to experience school romance between him and Chizuru (the protagonist).
Anime OVA
In the short OVA, Yamazaki appears very briefly next to Sannan who offers Shinpachi a secret serum that is meant to heal any wounds, and Yamazaki, knowing what it is and effects it brings, tries to stop Shinpachi from drinking it but fails.
Live Action TV series

Yamazaki appears in Episode 3 with a proposition to create a haunted room for the school festival at Hakuou Academy. Among a few other suggestions, his seems the less likely to happen as the class teacher, Nagakura-sensei, is afraid of ghosts. In Episode 6 he is seen welcoming Chizuru back to school along with everyone else.
