This song is the main song in the productions written and directed by Mouri Nobuhiro. It's instrumental style changes to match the main characters leitmotif. It often contain Chizuru's song "Yoiyami no machi de", "Saihate no basho de" in Hijikata Hen or in Kazama Hen "Mune no sono ni aru".
Except for the instrumental changes, there is also a change in the lyrics. The main guy often sings a different text than he does in other routes, mostly added at the end of the first half of the song. Kazama is probably the only one so far, who is added or excluded for solo parts, although he is always part of the last chorus. Sannan has changed lyrics in Harada Hen. LIVE versions of the song also include Yukimura Koudou, Otori Keisuke, Nagumo Kaoru, Ibuki Ryounosuke or Serizawa Kamo.
In the Shitan series, a remake of Hijikata Hen and Kazama Hen, it is played at the end, without being integrated in the story, also without Chizuru's solo which remains in the story. It's replacement is Shitan Mizukagami in the Shitan series and Fuyu no Jidai in Shinkai Souma's Route.
